I often like to doodle and paint whenever I'm watching a movie or television show or doing pretty much anything that involves listening (Note to my instructors: I'm still paying attention even if I'm doodling away. Probably paying more attention than if I wasn't doodling!). The other day I was in the mood to paint, but not really paint anything in particular. So while watching way too many episodes of True Blood (Yes, I'll admit it. I'm hooked), I painted whatever was in my mind at that time. Apparently jellyfish were on my mind. Why not? They are amazing creatures! Now, I'm hooked on painting them. Here's a picture of the ones I painted yesterday.
Oo, I like these. Glowy.
ReplyDeleteLove this. Now my desktop background (if that's ok).
ReplyDelete@Glendon, Thanks! The "glowiness" turned out a lot better than I had anticipated. Definitely remembering that for future paintings.
ReplyDelete@Tony, Thank you! It's perfectly okay! I'll be taking a higher resolution picture of it in the next few days if you want to check back for a better quality image for your background. :)
Great painting, Katy. You're very talented!
ReplyDeleteWell, after lots of beautiful paintings (and a nice picture!), lots of captchas and a barrage of comments, it's time to go to bed (It's 5:14 AM here). Tenha um ótimo final de semana, Katy!
Thank you for all of your nice comments Flávio! I always like to hear thoughts about my paintings. Glad you made it through the captchas!
ReplyDeleteHello, Katy! It seems you had trouble commenting at my blog... I am sorry about that. Five years ago, I set to always moderate comments and totally forgot about that. Pretty useless setting for my blog.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog and for leaving your kind comment! :-)
ReplyDeleteAh, I turned off the moderation of comments. You won't be bothered anymore by it.
ReplyDeleteStunning, you should sell your paintings, if you don't already.
